The year is 1989 and all the dreams of California teenager Jason Becker have come true. Jason has just landed the biggest rock gig on the planet as ex-Van Halen singer David Lee Roth's new lead guitar player. He's on the cover of every guitar magazine, and critics are calling him a musical prodigy and destined to become one of rock music's all-time greats.

One week later, Jason is diagnosed with ALS, a paralysing, terminal illness, and given just three to five years to live. But 23 years later, Jason is still alive, and with the help of his devoted family and an army of friends, he now communicates using only his eyes to create the music he once made on his guitar. Jason Becker: Not Dead Yet is a story of dreams, family, love and the strength of the human spirit.
