Band > PHOENIXX < Our album "In Flight" was recorded at Steve Lawson studio in Seattle in 1988. Produced and Engineered by the awesome Terry Date (Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Fifth Angel, Dream Theatre, Metal Church, Pantera).
We played quite a few shows in the Seattle area, had a strong album recorded and developed a local following. Things were changing with the arrival of grunge in Seattle, and I had soon received the offer to team up with James Byrd of Fifth Angel- so began the next chapter of my musical journey. The members of Phoenixx were good friends as I recall. We rocked hard & partied hard, as we were in our 20s and living in the 80s! Lots of great memories .
