Fantastic US band who, with the help of Mike Slamer (STREETS,Seventh Key) delivered two of the best albums of the 90's. Slamers songwriting and guitar licks are everywhere, so much so...its almost overpowering. Therefore its good to see that a number of tracks from their debut were co-written with Tom Deluca and more importantly Tower Citys, Larry and Heath Saltis.

("Fire With Fire" was also covered by Tower City on their 2nd album, strangely enough, released in the same year). You will also note that House of Lords "Metallic Blue" (Demons Down) and Wall of Silence "Addicted" were also covered on Steelhouse Lanes debut. Therefore due to the fact that "Slaves" is mostly an original album...it is arguably better! Whatever the case...your music collection is sadly lacking, if you don't have these two beauties, occupying a special place in the cd rack...and your heart. For fans of Streets, Tower City, Wall of silence and Seventh Key.
