Sarayasign is a new exciting band that is now releasing their debut album "Throne Of Gold". The disc contains "only" eight tracks. You can think a little, but here they have focused on quality instead of quantity and then I can at least settle for just eight songs. With good songs and cruel production, you go a long way.
We got the first taste of the album at the end of February when the song "When Worlds Collide" was presented. It is also the song that is one of the absolute highlights. But here are also the canon songs "The Book Of Wisdom", "Distant Memories", "If Only For A Moment", "Sandman" and "Run (The Hunt For The Book Of Wisdom". It all ends nicely with it over nine minutes long title track "Throne Of Gold". (maybe a little too far for my taste)
Sarayasign has really made a really good album that I think many here at DMB will love. We are talking melodic hard rock in a nice package, of course. You can also see "Throne Of Gold" as a story that runs like a common thread throughout the album.
