Canadian Bentwood Rocker started as a studio project in 1977. After more than a decade of performing mostly cover material as the popular Canadian band, "Sands Of Time", musicians Eric Baragar, Mike Goettler, Steve Smith and Tim Campbell decided to take a new direction. A fifth member, Dan Thompson, was added to the group and "Bentwood Rocker" was born.
During the years since then "Bentwood Rocker" has become a Canadian institution and during the years they have worked with many well established artists including: Randy Bachman, Sass Jordan, Burton Cummins, Bob Dylan, Kim Mitchell, Tom Cochran, Dan Hill, Greg Ladanyi, Ian Thomas & Eric Burdon.
In 2020 they released a compilation album of some of the songs they have recorded during their long career. The album exists in two slightly different versions. The version presented here is the one released on their own website.
