Fist of Rage - Black Water (2019)
Genre Hard Rock / AOR / Glam From Friuli Venezia Giulia, active since 2004, here are the Fist of Rage, authors of a hard ‘n’ heavy modern, which also has an eye to the classics.

Returning to stores eight years after their debut with the Black Water album, published by Andromeda Relix in the second half of 2018, these six musicians produce a very thick record, which rests solidly on a studio production adjusted to bring out the renewed spirit of the group. The starting point is in fact a canonical hard rock, between Deep Purple and Rainbow, which is replaced by Europe's 1980s melodic influences, a nineties technical taste at the Dream Theater, a modern touch to the Gotthard Lipservice school, but above all aggressive guitars and full-bodied of pure heavy metal tradition of Marco Onofri and Davide Alessandrini, who are in fact the beating heart of the whole recording. With the energetic and intoned voice of Piero Pattay, the beautiful bass by Saverio Gaglianese, the omnipresent and fundamental keyboards of Stefano Alessandrini, and the precise and wild drumming of Alfredo Macuz to complete the whole, pushing up the technical-compositional quality of this platter.
