Avantasia: The Metal Opera (Russian: Avantasia of Tobias Zammet) is a rock opera in the genre of power metal, written by Tobias Zammet, the leader of the band Edguy. Released on two disks in 2001 and 2002. Avantasia was the beginning of Sammet’s solo project.
