TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT is an American band playing Classic 80s US Power Metal, and they do it very well, at a high level. Although they have a keyboardplayer (Kit Allen), I couldn’t hear much keys, because TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT is a real 80s US Power Metal based act, with powerful vocals (singer Shawn Pelata) and an excellent guitarist (Kyle Harrison) who plays his solo’s perfectly. The music sounds like a mix between LORD WEIRD SLOUGH FEG, very early QUEENSRYCHE, TWISTED TOWER DIRE and of course IRON MAIDEN. 9 songs are included, and together with an impressive production, this album is highly recommended. Highlights on the debut CD of TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT are “Merchants of death”, “Pride will fall”, “Into the night”, “Poseidonus wrath” and “Captured”. Concluded, this is a MUST for every fan of classy 80s US Power Metal.
