Although many predicted a great future for this group, Black 'N Blue could not reach the status of superstars. The history of the band began in 1981, when in the Portland (Oregon) there was a gang Movie Star, playing in local clubs own material in half with Kiss covers and the like. Her composition looked like this: Julian Raymond (vocals, bass), Tommy Thayer (guitar), Virgil Ripper (guitar), Pete Horn (keyboards) and Jamie St. James (drums, vocals).
