The trio, from Burton-on-Trent, brought in elements of country, rhythm and blues, hard-rock and Southern boogie, but the result was an authentic, cohesive set, rather than a band trying lots of different styles to see what sticks. Kyle Lamley on vocals/guitar is a phenomenal frontman – bucket loads of charisma, he encouraged a full-on crowd reaction (particularly with last track “Whoop-dee-fucking-Doo”), but that’s not to take away from his voice – classic blues rock vocals which seemed incongruous coming from someone so Anglo-Saxon! THEIA’s music is most definitely conducive to a party atmosphere!" Emma, Get Your Rock Out
