Mick Underwood after the collapse of QUATERMASS joined the PEACE group, which he collected during the first split FREE Paul Rodgers, then worked with SAMMY, STRAPPS, in 1979 was involved in the GILLAN group, and in 1996 took a rather unexpected decision to revive QUATERMASS.
Since the other two members of the band did not show interest in this project, he invited other musicians with QUATERMASS II with whom he recorded the album The Long Road (1997), reissued with bonus tracks two years later at the firm of former bass player GILLAN John McCoy - Angel Air.
