Bio: GIT LA, ex Human Race guitarist, now with my own band RAWBURT. Three albums released by Human Race "Strange Horizons" (Jap), "For The Sake OF Your Soul" (Jap+EU) and "Dirteater" (EU). Björn Jansson is one of Sweden's hidden treasures when it comes to vocalists. Slightly crispy, he hits every tone and the charisma is hard to beat.
Mind you, I am normally not a fan of screamy voices but this guy really catches my attention. Take the mid-tempo tune "Born Again" as an example; the half-note jumps in melodies and chords are almost slightly doom oriented, and I even think of some later albums by GLENN HUGHES here. A funky attitude is shown here and there - for example in "The Psycho Man". If anyone bought the great album by SPEEDY GONZALES (Tommy Denander, Thomas Vikström and some other good musicians) you will absolutely like this one as well.
