Alicante-based heavy metal band Whirlwind Storm was founded in 2001, by a few metalheads (and classmates) particularly interested in sharing their vision of music and enjoy playing together. Initially dubbed Whirlwind, the band began writing his own music very soon, combined with playing some classics that improved their skills.
Rarely performed live (only in their debut concert, in Towerplane), that cover songs included pieces of Iron Maiden, Helloween, Running Wild, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Stratovarius and many more. And those are the roots of Whirlwind Storm nowadays, heavy-influenced by the classical heavy/power metal bands and other rock/hard rock monsters.
