It was released on December 3, 2013 by Frontiers Records, making it their first studio album in eleven years.[3][4] It is the first album released following the death of Brad Delp and is the final one to include him on vocals.[5] Delp recorded vocals on the songs "Didn't Mean to Fall in Love", "Sail Away", "Someone", and "Te Quiero Mia", the last of which being a re-arrangement of "I Had a Good Time", from Corporate America. The New Frontiers was an American indie rock band from Dallas, Texas. Originally called Stellamaris, they released a self-titled EP in 2006, but changed their moniker after discovering that they shared a name with a long-established Israeli band. Truth was the fifth studio album by Swedish hard rock band Talisman released on 27 December 1998 by Point Music.

Marcel Jacob and Jeff Scott Soto wrote most of the material during ten days in Soto's new house in Los Angeles, after which the rest of the band (now including guitar player Pontus Norgren) joined up for a couple of weeks of rehearsals and recording of backing tracks.
