A good debut album, with good production from Mike Slamer (Wall of Silence), but you've heard several of these songs performed better by other bands: "Metallic Blue" by House of Lords; "Dr. Love" by Hardline; "Can't Fight Love" also by House of Lords; and "Fire With Fire" by Tower City. That's not to say STEELHOUSE LANE's versions are bad, because they're not, but I think the other bands do a superior job. Anyway, if you're a melodic hard rock fan, this release is worth picking up.
