Loudguns started started out as a session project in 2009. Ever since being a little kid, guitarist Sami Pilve has always dreamed of being in a rock band, and by 2009 he had ten songs written and decided to make his dreams come true by asking his fellow musician friends to come out and play on his album.
With the help of a producer/musician/composer Heikki Malmberg, who is best known for his amazing drumming with the famous Finnish metal band Diablo, Loudguns recorded their debut album 'Broken Hghway'.
